If that is not enough, right click Game.Exe and select properties. Once you’re at the old account login, you can close the game and launch as user again. So the fix is simply to right click Game.exe, run as administrator, and it should finish up the patch. If you change Game.exe to run for XP SP3, you will see the UAC (User Account control) box but cannot click it. The stemming issue is the non-admin launch, combined with UAC prompt, combined with old full-screen applications… the UAC prompt cannot launch because of compat issues. At this point, the bottom left of my screen indicated that i was at the most recent v1.14D patch - it never installed successfully, but the game is not smart enough to detect this. Future attempts to go to online would result in 0% patch download followed by the disconnected error message. At the end of the download, 100%, it gave me the disconnected error message. I launched diablo for the first time, clicked battle net, and then it downloaded the patch. I am truly sorry that you havent received the answer you where looking for but there isnt another one we can give you at this point. The account i log in with is a normal user not an administrator. My Name is - aka Gamemaster - and I’m here to address your issue with the suspension. And finally, their last answer to me which closed the ticket unresolved. I answered to close the ticket because they obviously had no clue what was going on and talked to me like they wanted to get me off their back, which I found rude. 20 days or so later, still restricted, again ticket and again they told me I am restricted (without even playing (not even offline) in the last 4+ months) :PP Unbelievable. Two support tickets in summer for that same issue, every time saying that my ban is renewed ? I somehow got 14-day restriction at May, since then to the end of summer or so, I didn’t even touch the game because I didn’t have any access to it and when I got the chance, guess what ? Still restricted. Blizzard, oh Blizzard … the typical connection issue that’s been going on forever.
